Employee Card Error - Causing MYOB to crash

Hi

I have one Employee Card, that if I try to access it, causes MYOB to crash with the error "Something's gone wrong and AccounRight needs to close"

I've researched on here and it appears a script needs to be run to fix it.

However, my company is not online.

Please help as I cannot do anything at the moment with the payroll.

Thanks
Leigh

Hi @LeighE

If your file is online, please send us your serial number and company file name by a Private Message so we can run the script for you.

Kind regards,
Komal

Re: Employee Card Error - Causing MYOB to crash

Hi @LeighE

In that case, you can run one of the following tools depending on what version you're using:

AccountRight 2020.2 and later

 AccountRight 2020.1 and earlier

After taking a backup of your file, please follow the steps given below to run the tool :

  1. Extract the two files in the zipped folder through right clicking on the zip file and choose Extract all
  2. Double click AccountRight_Hotfix.exe
  3. Click Browse
  4. Locate the company file and click ok
  5. Click that you have a backup of this file
  6. Click Apply
  7. Once the hotfix has applied click Finish

Let me know if you have additional questions.

Kind regards,
Komal
