Forfeit annual leave in liew of notice period

Hi, I have an employee who has given 2 weeks notice instead of the required 4 and asked if she can forfeit 2 weeks of her annual leave balance - how do I process this in MYOB to pay her the remaining balance only of her annual leave?

    I found this similar forum post which one of our Partners provided an option for: Termination Pay/In Lieu Notice, hopefully it helps you too. 

     

    From the software perspective, you can either enter the reduced hours, or create a new wage category and enter negative hours with to reduce the total pay, both can produce the same final amount. If you are unsure about the reporting requirements, please do check with fairwork or with ATO.
