Termination Pay/In Lieu Notice

 Good morning

Can you tell me how I go about recording one week termination that the employee owes us
They have left with out giving notice and we need to hold one week.
Back in the day we would have to record this but I am unsure if this is what is required now

Please help

    Welcome to the MYOB Community Forum, I hope you find plenty of useful information.

     

    When you do up the termination pay take the appropriate hours off the normal weekly hours and make sure you keep notes. You can enter a note into the memo of the payslip but I would make sure there was an explanation entered into the Contact Log you do for the termination.
