Invalid Employee Superannuation Member Number Essentials

When completing super returns via the Pay Superannuation function I keep getting an error message for one employee stating that I need to enter a valid employee membership number.

I have checked the paperwork they provided and it matches what is entered against their card including fund USI and ABN number. Have also contacted the fund directly and they have confirmed their membership number is correct.

Thank you

Re: Invalid Employee Superannuation Member Number Essentials

Hi @Jessica6

Thank you for that. The member # prefix for this fund you've provided must start with 065, please make sure this has been entered. Once this has been entered you should be able to pay super for that fund.

Do let me know how you go.

Super fund has a different USI in MYOB

Hi,

I am trying to pay super for an employee belonging to Colonial First State Super. The ABN matches but the USI does not. I get an error stating the employee's membership number is invalid, but it is the correct number. I cannot wait 77 minutes to speak to an MYOB consultant.

What do I do??

Hi Melisa,

Yes the member # does start with 065 but is still not valid.
