Manually Enter Payslips

Hi there

I need to enter details of weekly wages to an employee from 1 January 2017 to date using MYOB AccountRight 2019.2.1.  As the tax tables have changed since then, how do I manually enter the details?

hours x rate = gross - tax - additional tax = nett

superannuation payments

Thanks

Cathy

Re: Manually Enter Payslips

Hi @CathyCat

It depends on the reasons as to why you are entering that pay information for the employee.

If it's for accounting/banking purposes then you would be looking at recording a journal that affects the relevant accounts for the required amounts. I would recommend speaking with an accountant in regards to the accounts, amounts and tax codes for those journal entries.

If it's you payroll reasons I would be asking why haven't you paid that employee a payroll transaction in the software for two payroll years? In terms of AccoutnRight, you can only process pay information for the current payroll year.

Kind regards,
Steven
