Payroll run suddenly rejected

Hi,

I have been using STP for 2 years.

Looked at the Payroll Reproting Centre and found

Your Payroll Report has been rejected by the ATO

Reason: 

• A record with the same submission ID already exists (ATO error code: CMN.ATO.PAYEVNT.EM92172)

Can anyone please explain what I need to do.

Hi @ROSE 

Thanks for your post. The error code "CMN.ATO.PAYEVNT.EM92172" indicates that there is a duplicate payroll event submission ID. This means that the ATO have already received a pay event with that ID.

You can process a $0 pay to make sure the correct YTD amounts have been reported to the ATO.
