Final Pay Casual

I need to know how to do a final pay for a casual employee.  We didn't need to put on an employee but he was in need and thought will help him out for a few weeks.  He only worked for 4 weeks and paid him weekly.  The last week I did a normal pay thinking this is okay, Then went into his folder and put his end date in. I then went to Payroll Reporting, into Payroll reporting centre and clicked on Employment terminations and clicked the Notify the ATO.

Is this acceptable for casual for final pay?  If not what do I need to do.

Then the Superannuation payment is this an extra cost from MYOB if i use MYOB Portal?

Regards

Vikki

Re: Final Pay Casual

Hi @vist,

Looks like you've done everything accordingly! With casual employees it is a lot more straightforward, not having to pay out leave, etc.

In regards to paying super through our clearinghouse, this is already included in your subscription. You will just need to set it up and go through some verification steps.

I will leave a link below with instructions on setting up super and making superannuation payments:

Let me know if I can assist any futher.

Kind regards,
Sam
