LINKING LSL ACCRUAL TO WAGE CATEGORY LSL PAY

When linking to the wage category there is an error message "ENTITLEMENT PAYROLL CATEGORY_EXEMPTION NOT HOURLY WAGES " even though the only exemption ticked is Time and Half. So CANNOT link entitlement to Wage Category.

Hi @KathySk 

Thank you so much for your post. This error occurs when there is One or more wage categories that are trying to be excluded from the entitlement aren’t set as hourly categories. To fix this, After ensuring that the entitlements linked wage category is set to an hourly basis, not a salary basis, we need to refresh the entitlement in the background

 

Steps to refresh the entitlement:

1.    Take note of the percentage figure

2.    Click Equals "hours per pay period"

3.    Click Equals % percent of gross hours

4.    Click OK

If the error occurs when changing the calculation basis back to the % calculation, the customer will need to retype the % amount noted at the start of refreshing process. If you are unsure as to what percentage should be seek the advice of FairWork Australia.
