Payroll Downloads

We download our payroll from Deputy however an extra hour of base hourly rate comes up when processing the payroll.  We have tried get rid of it through the employees card file however it keeps coming up.  Has anyone come upon this problem and how did they solve it?

Re: Payroll Downloads

HI @diana3,

Thank you for your post.

Could you confirm if the employee's 'Standard Pay' window has been zeroed out? (Card file>Payroll details>Standard Pay).

Any hours that are entered in the standard pay section will be added to the pay run on top of the imported timesheet hours.

Kind regards,
Sam

Re: Payroll Downloads

Hi Diana & MYOB

We are having the same issue and have been fixing the standard pays each week to $0 to ensure they are not present before uploading the wages into MYOB from Deputy but this still doesnt fix our issue.

The import issue is random, not all employees have the base hourly amount appear once info has been exported and some do.  We are constantly having to review payroll in detail each pay period to ensure this doesn't affect the payments.

Its cumbersome and time consuming when there are over 100 employees each payment run.  It has been going on for some time, there was a stage where it appeared to have been fixed with an update but seems to have now reappeared.

Initally we were using a negative pay category to clear out the MYOB base hourly but one of the updates threw this out again.

Very frustrating and still cannot solve.
