Payroll - Unable to amend & save

Hi,

Unable to amend/change. Error message "the format of the statement text value is incorrect". Check the date format as suggested in the forum, but no avail.

Any assistance/advice?

Thank you.

Re: Payroll - Unable to amend & save

Hi

From the error message it would suggest it is the statement field that has the issue - it is hidden in your screenshot

Try this

Have a look at it and make sure there are no spaces before or after the main text

I would probably delete the text and retype and hit delete at the end of the message a couple of times to make sur no spaces exist

Hope that is useful

Re: Payroll - Unable to amend & save

It must be the text inside the statement

Standard is PAY FOR xx/xx/2022

Re: Payroll - Unable to amend & save

Thank you, Lisa.

What is this text inside the statement that you are referring to you? And how can we take a look at it? Any suggestions? Thank you.

Re: Payroll - Unable to amend & save

It is the statement text in the screenshot you sent

you should be able to amend it from that screen

I can't see what it is as it looks like it is shaded out in your screenshot

Re: Payroll - Unable to amend & save

Thank you, Lisa.

Saw the statement text you were referring to (Please see attachment).

As this has already been processed, there is no way it can be changed. Does that mean there is no way we can amend the memo or change the delivery status?

Re: Payroll - Unable to amend & save

You error says  the format of the statement text is not valid

I would amend it to 07/04/2022 you can change the email delivery with the drop down box

if you can't change the delivery method through that screen you can send the payslip through the command centre

Email payslips , go into advanced filters and untick unsent

hope that helps

Re: Payroll - Unable to amend & save

Am assuming you meant the delivery of payslip if you mean changing electronic payment to cheque or cash, then no you can't change that.

you would need to delete or reverse the pay and do it again

Re: Payroll - Unable to amend & save

Thank you, Lisa.

As the payroll has already been processed with the previous date format, it does not allow the statement text to be changed. While we can change the email delivery with the drop down box, the error message will appear. It seems that there maybe no solution to this, but anyway, thank you again.
