Processing the first Payroll of the financial Yr

Do i need to close the financial year before i process my first pay run in the new financial year? Thank you  =)

Seems you don't, but at the moment you are unable to process any pays in the new FY.

There are quite a few of us who've spent considerable time today trying to process wages, but once we hit record it's all gone!

Hold off till it's sorted otherwise you are just wasting time.

Oh dear. That's a bit of a problem. I'll wait until tomorrow.

I didn't think i'd be able to process a payroll entry for this new year, then close off last year's company file afterwards.
