Superannuation

Hi,

I have put an exempt on super for one of my employees and now I need to take this exempt off.  Please could you assist in explaining how to put the super payment back on.

Many thanks.

Lynne

Re: Superannuation

Hi @LynneatPBH

It is going to depend on how you set up the exemption in the first place as to how to undo it.

If the superannuation category was simply removed from the employee’s card then you can add the superannuation calculation back onto the employee by reselecting the superannuation payroll item on the employee’s card.

Alternatively if the employee gets paid on a specific payroll category that does not currently attract superannuation this can be changed through the Superannuation tab of the Payroll Categories within the file.

Open the superannuation payroll category and click Exempt to see all of the wage categories that currently do not attract super. By unticking a wage category it will now be included as part of the superannuation calculation.

Regards,
Neil
