sick leave accrual figure

Employee has gone from permanent to casual now. Have paid unused annual leave.  Have kept the same employee card and changed back to casual etc.

But how do I make the sick leave accrued figure 0.

Thank you for your help.

Re: sick leave accrual figure

Hi @Tasqua

Within AccountRight, if you need to adjust the number of hours an entitlement has, this can be done through a void pay. A void pay is a pay where the net pay is zero, and typically all figures on the pay are zero other than the entitlement being adjusted.

To record a void pay, its done through the normal Process Pay function. The only difference is that all of the figures would be zeroed out. The only exception would be the entitlement your wanting to adjust where you would enter in the number of hours being adjusted.

So if you were reducing the employee’s entitlement by 15 hours for example, then you would enter in -15 hours for the entitlement. When this pay is processed this negative figure is carried through to the employee’s card and will reduce the number of hours for that entitlement

Regards,
Neil
