unable to select payroll catergory

I have just created a new payroll catergory (called bonus set up as salary). 

I have assigned it to the appropriate employee.

But when entering their timesheet details, the new catergory is not avaliable in the drop down menu.

I have restarted the program.

What I have missed?, why can i not select it????

Hi @Tracy1982 

When selecting Payroll Categories in Timesheets, this will only look for Payroll Categories set up as hourly. As Timesheets only tracks hours against that particular Payroll Category.

When creating a Wage Payroll Category, setting it up as Hourly lets you include hours against that Category with a multiplier, or Salary if you wanted to enter a solid dollar figure amount.

If you're wanting to enter Hours against the Bonus category in a Timesheet, you will need to change the Payroll Category to use Hourly instead of Salary.
