Importing invoices / credit limits

Hi All,

Our company currently imports invoices from another system. In the past, we have never had credit limits set for our customer, which we are about to change.

My question is, once credit limits have been set in MYOB, will there be any issues with importing invoices if a customer has already gone, or will go, over their credit limit due to the imported invoice.

Thanking you in advance.

Re: Importing invoices / credit limits

Hi @MFreer_FC

Importing an invoice will bypass the credit limit check and should allow you to import that invoice as intended.

It's a bit like selecting Yes to the following window if you were to enter that invoice through the Enter Sales window (just without the prompt) - you will be able to import the transaction like any other invoice if the customer exceeds the limit.

Kind regards,
Steven
