GL Journals and Google Chrome browser issue

Anyone know the trick..client is having no issues elsewhere, but when using Chrome and doing a GL journal, and press + to add a line, it jumps them out so they cannot add a line?  They can import no problem, and also use another browser no problem, so something in Chrome.  They are on the latest Chrome version

  • You can run Chrome in ingonito mode and it will work ;)

You could also look at changing the shortcut so that when Chrome is launched, it automatically starts in incognito.

  • This issue is currently being investigated on MYOB parent ticket SR# 155915064103. It seems this issue affects only some sites, even where the same version of Chrome is used. The only workaround appears to be to use any other browser except Chrome.

There are other screens also affected - stock Receipts and stock Adjustments.   You enter the quantity, enter the unit costs, enter the extended amount.  Save the record, and quantity changes back to 1, and unit costs changes back to current unit cost.

That's interesting, as I don't appear to have the issue you described on my sites with the Chrome GL Journal Entry.

One of our consultants found out how to remedy this without having to use incognito mode or using another browser.   The remedy is: ( drumroll ) remove all the stored passwords for url  https://yourcompany.myobadvanced.com on the users computer.

Alternative - upgrade to 2018 release.
