Thanks for checking in! You’re running into access issues because MYOB’s student access is facilitated by the educational institutions partnering with MYOB. When students require access or have trouble accessing their software for their courses, they need to contact their education provider for assistance. MYOB software is for businesses in Australia and New Zealand, it hasn’t been built with access from other countries in mind.

I am a tutor for the University of the South Pacific - Kiribati Campus on MYOB and we are using cloud MYOB and we have some issues with the login to the MYOB on cloud especially with the authentication. Sometimes my student cannot login. Is there a way that we can receive the datafile and enter directly from it and not using cloud? Please help

Sorry your students are hitting a login roadblock, especially when authentication decides to be a bit cheeky. Whether you can work from a local datafile depends on the product: MYOB Business is browser-based, while AccountRight may have desktop or offline file options, but the file needs to be set up correctly and each user still needs the right access. It’s worth checking that each student has been invited using the correct email address, then working through these sign-in troubleshooting steps. If the issue continues, please email [email protected] with the product name and exact error message so they can check the access safely.
