Hi everyone, I'm having ongoing issues when importing Retail Manager accounting data into the AccountRight desktop app. Each time I attempt an import, the program freezes and becomes unresponsive. The only way to exit is by forcibly shutting it down. Interestingly, when I sign back into AccountRight, the import appears to have been successful. I have already tried clearing the MYOB cache, but the issue continues. Has anyone else come across this problem? If so, did you find a solution? Also, I was wondering whether the browser version supports importing Retail Manager files? I had a quick look, but couldn't see the option available. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. Re: Reconciling accounts on Desktop Hi Princess_R, Thank you for your reply. I have reached out to the support team, and they have responded. I was asked to check all the last reconciled dates to see if they are correct. I have followed the support team's procedures and confirmed that they are all correct for all accounts. I have replied to the support team letting them know and included a screenshot of the unallocated transactions that still appear in the browser version. I'm hoping that there is a resolution to this problem, as I believe I am not the only one who has this issue. Cheers, Patty Reconciling accounts on Desktop Hi all, Since our business is a little complex, I use both AccountRight browser and desktop to allocate transactions and reconcile all our accounts. I upload bank statements in QIF format in the browser, match what I can there, and then complete the rest on the desktop. My issues are: Although I reconcile all transactions on the desktop version, the transactions that I do not allocate in the browser version still show up as not allocated or matched even though they have been reconciled. The transactions that I cannot allocate/have not worked out how to do on the browser are: supplier payments direct debit customer payments that go into a Retail Manager Cash Drawer Clearing account transferring money from one bank account to another from different banks I import Retail Manager Accounting data on the desktop because I haven't figured out how to do it on the browser version yet. If anyone has any suggestions or guidance for any of the above, it would be greatly appreciated. My main aim is to clear out the unallocated bank transactions on the browser. Re: Moving imported data to a different bank account All good - my brain started working again and I have figured it out :) Moving imported data to a different bank account Hi all, I seem to be in a little bit of a pickle with accounting imports from Retail Manager. We recently changed our merchant facility provider to NAB, so all merchant settlements are now deposited into an NAB account, which is not our main business banking account with Bendigo Bank. However, when I do an accounting export from Retail Manager and import to Accountright, all the data is imported into the Bendigo Bank business account. Therefore, I cannot reconcile the imported data (i.e., merchant settlements in the NAB account. Is there a way to import this data into a different bank account? I'm guessing it is a settings adjustment, but not sure where to find it. Is there also a way to transfer the entries already imported in the Bendigo account to the NAB account in Accountright? Hide unmatched transactions on web browser I know it has been asked about and discussed previously, but MYOB seriously need to do something about not being able to hide unmatched transactions on the web browser. Surely if it could be done on the desktop version of AccountRight, then it can't be too difficult to give users the same options on the web browser. Is it something that is being considered?
