To clarify the issue there were some situations where the GST Return on a Cash Payments basis was incorrectly rounding GST on the line and again on the total meaning the Return and the Detail reports differed by small amounts. The issue was only occuring with Invoices which had partial payments and when reporting on Payments basis.Status changed to: Maybe laterThanks for the feedback Murray, We originally didn't do QIF import into the bank feed screen for simplicity sake, but I can see it's a helpful idea. We also like the idea of getting historical data from banks so you can specify to get historical data when you first start a bank feed which I think would be good.Status changed to: Maybe laterThanks for the feedback, I'd be interested to know more about the scenario - how many different accounts do you pay from? Could the bank feed function help in this scenario by allowing you to record the payment quickly?Status changed to: Under considerationThanks we understand that this was a useful feature and we do intend to bring it back at some stage in the future. In the meantime you can get the same information from the receivable & payable reports.Status changed to: PlannedOur partners BankLink (who provide bank feeds for AccountRight) are in discussions with ING to provide bank feeds. We can't confirm a date yet but we hope to have positive news in the near future.Status changed to: In developmentThanks for the feedback. We have added this ability and it will be available in the next release of AccountRight 2013.1Status changed to: Under considerationHi, thanks for the feedback, I can see how that formatting is affecting you. I'm interested to hear more from yourself and others about how we format reports in Excel - currently they inherit the formatting of the parent report. Would it be better for Excel purposes if the Excel reports were always in a simple format so that the data could be manipulated more easily?Status changed to: Under considerationHi all, thanks for the feedback. With AccountRight v19 it was possible to edit a reconciled transaction and cause the bank reconciliation to go out of balance. When transactions were edited in v19 they still remained marked as reconciled and it was very hard for a user to track down these errors as the transaction was not visible in the bank reconciliation screen ( due to it being “reconciled”). The design in AccountRight 2012 was intended to address this problem by making these transactions visible in the bank rec. However I do agree that taking this action when a non-financial change such as Cheque number changes is not needed as it is not a change that would cause an out of balance anyway. I’m not sure that going back to the v19 design is ideal but I suspect there is a middle ground between the 2 approaches – what do others think?Status changed to: Under considerationHi Graeme, thanks for the feedback - sounds like a few separate issues here. When you click on the Find option it looks for Unmatched & Unreconciled transactions. It could be that the transaction was already ticked in the Bank reconciliation screen which would prevent you seeing it here. Given that you have deleted and re-entered we can't check this but I suspect that was the cause. The Recurring transaction function is currently disabled in bank feeds as recurring templates contain a fixed total amount which if used would replace the Bank Feed amount ( therefore affecting the accuracy) . Rather than doing this we're focussed on enhancing the Rules functions so that they can be used for more scenarios as this offers more automation and accuracy. We're also ooking into the Window Size, location issue that you have previously raised.Status changed to: Under considerationHi Helen, We can potentially get feeds from Fonterra and Rural suppliers. As the data in these feeds differs in nature to banks we want to make sure the transactions can be easily processed in AccountRight and our focus has been on getting the banking stuff working first. If you or anyone else wants to test out a feed from a Rural supplier and give us some feedback just let me know and we can discuss our options .
