Payroll - Application operation keeps timing out

Hi Myob,

 

I am trying to process my payroll but every time I press record I receive the Application operation keeps timing out message.  If I retry I get the unable to connect msg.   Please advise if MYOB is doing an upgrade as I am connected to the internet and have had no problems logging into my file.

 

Please note I need to submit wages this morning so this is quite urgent.

Hi Laura,

 

I couldn't wait for MYOB to reply so I decided to see if I just loaded 1 or 2 employees to see what would happen.

 

And it worked.   Unfortunately I lost my saved payroll and had to redo the staff not on timesheets but ended up processing the 36 employees in 3 batches with no timing out.

 

If you decide to do it this way and depending on how may employees you have, I suggest printing out the Payroll verification for each employee (unless you've already done this) and then just copy the entries ie any leave accrual adjustments etc from the report without having to recalculate.
