You can upload JPG, PNG, PDF and TIFF files directly from your camera, photo gallery or device files. Each file must be 10MB or smaller, with a total attachment limit of 25MB per invoice or quote. Is the Assist app going to have the ability to create or view existing quotes? Customer activity in assist Why would myob bring out an app (assist) that removes such a vital function, ie: the ability to check customer actions on your invoice correspondence? Yes you can log in on your browser, but that's not efficient. If I am required to go through the process and inconvenience of logging in and navigating the web version, then that would rule out the need to also log into the assist app to create an invoice. It's double handling. I may as bloody well create an invoice whilst I'm there. Myob are obviously not in touch with what users actually need. Stupidity at it finest, or am I missing something? SolvedSign in process for Assist app The sign in process is ridiculous. I used to be able to bring up the app, quickly scan my receipt and be on my way. Now I need to sign in every single time I open the app. Plus the email verification, which annoys me anyway, but I need to do everytime. The time it takes me to sign in is longer than scanning the receipt. Will there be an update to keep the app signed in on each device? SolvedPublic Holiday Option in Teams Why isn't there an option in MYOB Team app to select "public holiday not worked"? Currently you must manually edit employee timesheets for that day. When you have some permanent employees working and some that don't, it makes it extremely difficult to know who has actually worked, how many hours they actually worked for the day in comparison to their normal working hours. How do people manage this? Nearly feels like manual time books are easier. Lack of passcode and purchase order window Why do I have to sign in every time whereas with the old app a passcode was only needed? The passcode was a much easier way to login. Also what happened to the purchase order spot.?. At least with the old app it had the purchase order window so you could assign that job to a particular number. SolvedMYOB Assist app - stay logged in and no invoicing Hi We've been using the MYOB Capture app for our purposes over a number of years, and it has worked perfectly for our requirements. We have about 10 staff members, that use the company credit card for fuel purchases etc, and scan the receipts to get them into MYOB. This system has worked really well. There are a few problems with the Assist app and I need to know how to get around them, or I'll be going elsewhere. Can the Assist app stay logged in. I can't expect the tradies to keep logging into their app, and re-authenticating each time they wish to scan a fuel receipt Can the invoicing function in the Assist app be turned off? I don't need invoicing in this format, nor do I need staff members to see what has been invoiced and for how much. Please advise if there is a work around, a third party scanning ability or I just have to go somewhere else (4 companies) SolvedMYOB Assist Can we go back to Capture With Myob assist it is very frustrating trying to login because to use the authenticator app you have to come out of the myob assist to get it and then Myob makes you begin again to sign in. I hate this application. I much preferred the capture. Can we go back to capture because that is all we use the app for. Also in logging in the biometrics is asked for, for the email, and then I have to type the password, biometrics not asked for this, then authenticate.... Was just wondering if there is a PIN code login option as our iPad we use doesn’t have face recognition? was wondering if is an option to have cash payment as an option on the face first page of invoicing? At the moment we have to save the invoice go back edit the invoice put the cash amount in we have received and then go back and send the email to the customer! The old app worked great in this aspect cheers! SolvedMYOB ASSIST & Sending invoices via SMS Hi - we've just signed up to take online payments. We have MYOB assist loaded on our phones. When we raise a test invoice and send via email everything works perfectly. However when we tried sending via SMS the invoice didn't arrive (checked number & tried twice) - is there something else that needs to be set up for the SMS function to work? Also when you share a PDF from the phone APP none of the online payment details appear. Is this intentional? And finally - is it possible to add the online payment option to the order form or is it only available for invoices? Thanks Suggestion: Simplify MYOB login Why doesn’t MYOB use a login system similar to banking apps? Log in once, link the device to the account, then allow access with a PIN and/or biometrics. That would make it simpler, faster, and easier for regular users. Is there a reason this isn’t implemented?
