Before installing make sure no users are logged in, restart the machine & disable AV.
If this is for the file AERego.exe, I've been running into it for years. At your own risk:
Spoiler- In that same registration folder there are 2 files: MRego.dll and MRego64.dll
- Rename them
- Run the Install
- If the files are not recreated, restore their original names
