Unhandled exception has occurred in your application. PDF Manager.

This was a post - unhandled exception - someone made three years ago. It doesn't say what the solution was but its still occuring with version 1.8.

We have had the exact same issue in that any scanned document cannot be rotated.

PDF manager will rotate other pdf files as long as they  have not been scanned.

We get the same issue on two different pcs and using two different HP printers

 

That thread is closed but I would like to know what the solution was. MYOB tech people have been working on this issue for nearly two weeks and still no resolution yet.

 

I also scanned a document directly from the printer to a USB drive and copied it to the watchfolder in case there was an issue with the networth path, but still get the same issue.

    This issue is caused by unknown settings on the scanner/s which creates a damaged file where PDF Manager is unable to rotate.

     

    Unfortunately, you will need to test to work out what settings on your scanner that causes this issue.

     

    The workaround is to use the "Import document" feature instead of the "Get documents from Watchfolder" feature in the MYOB PDF Manager application.

     

    After scanning the document, in the PDF Manager application please the click "Import document" option from the left task menu then browse to the folder where the document was scanned to select and click "Open" in which the document can now be rotated.
