2018.1.7 Release
Hi all,
I would like to take the opportunity in this posting to update you on the 2018.1.7 release which impacts several feature deliveries.
As you know, the 2018.1.7 release includes:
- GA release of bank feeds
- Licence structure changes to provide access to purchase orders for employee and executive users
- Changes to the PartnerSupport accounts to provide partners with multiple accounts
It was planned to deploy 2018.1.7 in April. However, the release has unfortunately been impacted with the recent Archie upgrade, specifically relating to functionality associated to bank feeds. Post the Archie upgrade, issues with the CAF form were identified. As the form is an integral part of the application process for all paper-based applications ( which account for more than 90% of the applications), we will wait to deploy this version to production sites until the issue is rectified.
The team responsible for Archie are busy working through these issues and we will update you as soon as we have further traction on this.
In the meantime, we have made the release available in the form of a local installer so any required testing can be carried out by development and ISV partners.
Below are details of the intended deployment program for the release:
- Week starting 6th May – partner demo sites.
- Week starting 13th May – mid-June – production site deployment. The starting date for these deployments is however conditional on the resolution of the CAF form issues.
We will soon be loading assets promoting bank feeds into the PRC. This will include:
- Video: benefits of bank feeds
- Video: bank feeds in MYOB Advanced
- Emails – promotion to clients and prospects
- Signature tiles
The MYOB website will be updated once the 2018.1.7 is released into the client base. If you have any questions about 2018.1.7, please get in touch with me on james.brading@myob.com. If you have any marketing queries, please contact Leah on leah.mahtani@myob.com.
