Super fund details

I have been trying to get payday Super working since end of June. I have only 1 employee. I have put their Super Fund details in, but MYOB doesn't recognise this particular Fund - it is a major one, and in fact is the same as my own Super! - HOSTPLUS Superannuation - Industry. MYOB does not offer this Fund to self-populate and I can't find any way to put it in manually somewhere

It keeps coming back with 'Some information is incorrect or missing. See below for more details'.

I have checked the details numerous times, everything appears correct according to Fund details from my employee, but it keeps coming back with; Some information is incorrect or missing.

HELP!

    Hi wino5453,

That's unusual, especially if you’re using the same fund and your own contributions are going through without any issues. The “Some information is incorrect or missing” error can appear when details on the employee card, business bank account or super fund profile are missing or invalid. It can also happen if the fund’s APRA or SMSF registration details are outdated.

I know you’ve already checked everything a few times, but it’s worth confirming each detail against the ATO Super Fund Lookup and with the Super Fund directly. If everything checks out and the error still appears, try recreating the super fund record. You may need to add an extra character at the end of the fund name so you can save it, then relink the new fund to the employee and try again.

    Cheers,

    Princess

Hi Princess, I have just now found time to try your suggestion, but it still won't work.

I went to the Look Up list you suggested, and the details matched with what I had previously entered.

I re-entered the details, but still won't work. However, this time I could hover over a little message which said 'This Fund can no longer receive contributions using Pay Super. Please edit fund from list'

Well, this is exactly what I had just done, and the Fund is on the list.

The Fund in question is HOSTPLUS Superannuation Fund - Industry. However, when you pull down the list in MYOB, the hyphen before Industry is not there in the name as per list - not sure if this is the issue?

    Any thoughts on this?

    Hi wino5453

Thanks for finding the time to try those steps and confirming the details match the ATO Super Fund Lookup. If you’re still seeing the message that the fund can no longer receive contributions using Pay Super, the best next step is to contact our supoort team so they can check the fund’s status and confirm what needs to be updated. You can reach out by creating a ticket in My Account or connecting to our live chat team through MOCA, our virtual assistant.

    Regards,
    Genreve

Got this sorted now thru Support.

The Super Fund had slightly changed the name of the Fund - removed Industry from the name. When I re-loaded from the original drop-down box, the Industry listing was no longer there, but the name without that matched the USI I had.

That id the trick, and I have now been able catch up on Super payments for that employee.

    Thanx for your help :)
