We operate quite a few businesses, so if Xero works, I will be migrating all our businesses from MYOB to Xero. So disappointing as I have used MYOB from the beginning when they were associated with Sol6. Now everyone is going to have to learn new software—and we all know what a moral killer that is! This method worked for me. Ridiculously convoluted way to have to do it considering how easy it was before...but it did, in fact, work for me. Thank you! I just tried using the method you outlined, but it still produces the same "unable to open the company file..." Any other suggestion?? I am so frustrated at not being able to have mutiple companies open that I have signed up to take an on-line class for Xero so I can take a look at it. After an update a couple of months ago, I was no longer able to do this. No matter how I attempt it, I always get an error message that says "Unable to open company file This company file is not registered to the AccountRight Live account that you are currently logged in to." For those of us that run multiple businesses, it is critically important that we be able to switch seamlessly between files - meaning that we must be able to have multiple MYOB data files open at the same time. Please sort this out. PS-the answer is not to link files to our identity. As the company files are totally independent, unrelated businesses, each one has a different identity. This has happened periodically in the past, but has always started working again after a few days. It is a new ipad, running latest version. I have logged into the app and all data is there. It just WILL NOT save. Please help if you can. Thanks.
