Re: Reconciling - weird out of balance issue
I am having the same issue big time. No here has been able to help, had the same lame response as you gave this lady. Ever since the upgrade in March 2025, My bank recons have been out big time, same as above. My recon window says reconciled, but the reports are way out. Even entering contra journal entries to help balance does not help. It doesn't reconcile the outstanding deposits. See Screenshot. I have tried everything under the sun to fix it. It's a Myob internal glitch. No one wants to know about it or even try to fix it. i am in the process of migrating to QB, as I can no longer run my business through myob, as my P&L etc is way out. Since the latest upgrade I have been having major issues with my inventory also a big problem bank reconciliation, which I managed to fix, by having to undo 6 months of reconciliations. myob showed I was out $20.900, it eventually corrected itself, but still not good enough. i have been noticing discrepancies in my inventory for some weeks, but now there are major issues where my stock is out by thousands of $ and units, complete orders appear have doubled up. I need to bring in stock from orders but my actual physical stock is as it should be. I've had to adjust my inventory to a point where my shrinkage is ridicules. This is a MAJOR PROBLEM. IT SEEMS LIKE MYOB DID NOT CATCH SOMETHING OR LOST SOMNETHING IN THE UPGRADE. I CAN'T PIN POINT IT CORRECTLY BECAUSE THERE IS NO RYME OR REASON. THIS HAPPENED SOME YEARS AGO AS WELL, AND OF COURSE NO RESOLUTION WAS FOUND OR GIVEN BY MYOB, I had to start a new file completely to fix that issues. I deal with manufacturing, so building my inventory is crucial. also' WHY ARE WE FORCED TO UPGRADE!!!!!!!!!!!!! AT LOT OF THE TIME THERE ARE ISSUES AFTERWARD AND NO SUPPORT. YEARS AGO PHONE SUPPORT WAS AVAILABE, BUT ALL THAT HAS GONE TO THE DOGS AS WELL. I have been using MYOB since it came out, but this is getting sloppier by the minute. WHY DON'T YOU FULLY TEST YOUR UPGRADES AND GIVE US A CHOICE WETHER WE WANT TO OR NOT. THE ONLY THING YOUR CONSISTANT WITH IS BILLING!Re: RECONCILIATION
This has nothing to do with it. There is a glitch somewhere, I unreconciled 18 months to try to find the error. It ended up with NO ERROR ON MY SIDE. EVERYTHING WAS ENTERED AND RECONCILED CORRECTLY, MYOB SIMPLY SHOWED ABOUT 30+ ENTRIES AS UNRECONCILED. NEEDED TO DO JOURNAL ENTRIES TO COMPENSATE. NOT GOOD ENOUGH501Views0likes3CommentsRECONCILIATION
HAVING MAJOR BANK RECONCILIATION PROBLEMS. HAVE SPENT HOURS TRYING TO FIX. REPORTS ARE TOTALLY INCORRECT.
