Banking: Transfer money transactions
It it currently very fiddly to enter a transfer between accounts. In Essentials, you cant enter a transfer between bank accounts as a spend money like you can in MYOB AccountRight which would be fineif you didn't have to go to another window completely to manually enter a transfer every time. This process is slow and annoying if you make multiple transfers. Even having the date, amountand bank usedbought over when clicking manually create the transfer would be easier than starting from scratch every time, as well as when you hit save it takes you back up to top of the bank feed list, not back to where you were working from. Is the wording incorrect for this? It's supposed to be not taxable but comes up in the transaction listing as GST Free. It should say the correct tax code as FRE and N-T are different in the AccountRight programs and when it comes tolodging the BAS it should be clear. Also, I use negative income tax codes in MYOB for contra expenses deducted from sales - it would be useful to be able to add tax codes in essentials. there has been many times by accident i've hit the esc key and it's lost all my timesheet for that week, the only time it saves is when i click to another week or if i click okay. can there be a confrim or a safeguard so all data isnt lost? It would be really handy to have a something available in Essentials like in AR the super by fund summary report. Currently I use the payroll summary report as this is the only report available. It works fine as it shows the super for that month, but I am always flicking back to the employee contact details to see the super fund and member number for each employee. I find that I am spending a lot of time on excel reports to format them to look nice, like they do when they are generated in MYOB. It would save time and benefit us if the format was exported straight to excel, as well as have thetotals and balances calculated. Because of bank feeds I only go in toreconcile the bank accounts on a monthly basis to match the ending balance to the bank statement, and because I am used to the CTRL a shortcuthighlighting all in the selected area, I press it to highlight all the closing statement balance and it actually unticks/ticks everything showing, regarless of it being matched up to a bank feed.
