Private health insurance excess calculating in every ITR
Is anyone else have a problem with Private Health Cover Excess calculating in every ITR? The TP are all covered for the full year and under all thresholds yet there is an excess being calculated (generally for under $1) in every ITR. What is the cause of this? Can someone please comment. Thank you.Solved42Views0likes1CommentNumbering of assets migrated from AE Tax to online assets
When assets are imported from AE tax to the online Assets register they seem to come across with a random asset number. Is there any system to the order that assets are numbered? I doesn't seem to relate to the date purchased or be alphabetical. When a depreciation report is printed from the new ledger it always seems to print by asset number (I know you can sort differently on the screen). This means that on the report assets are all jumbled up with ones from 10 or 20 years ago printing in amongst more recent purchases. I know that you can go and edit the asset number, but with a large schedule this is a laborious process.27Views0likes0CommentsForeign Pension UPPs
I have clients where one spouse has more than one UK pension. They are entitled to the 8% UPP on their state pensions. Each pension is entered separately. On the form itself I get the correct allocation between pensions with a UPP and those without but I keep getting an error that the UPP is incorrect. There is this note at the top of the foreign pension schedule but other than adding the pensions separately which I have done there is no "Add section". Don't include foreign pensions or annuities with or without Undeducted purchase price amounts in the same section. If you have more than one type of pensions or annuities, click Add section. I then get an error saying that the UPP amount is incorrect. On the spouse's return where there is only the one pension I do not get an error. Deductible amount of UPP of foreign pension or annuity is incorrect CMN.ATO.IITR.730356 When the sum of all foreign pension or annuity assessable amounts in the Income Details schedule (Foreign pension or annuity gross amount less Foreign pension or annuity deductible expenses) is positive, the Deductible amount of UPP of foreign pension or annuity must equal the lesser value of the sum of all adjusted Foreign pension or annuity undeducted purchase price amounts or sum of all foreign pension or annuity assessable amounts; Otherwise, the Deductible amount of UPP of foreign pension or annuity must be set to zero. Note: The adjusted Foreign pension or annuity undeducted purchase price for each pension (or annuity) is determined as either; the lesser value of the foreign pension or annuity assessable amount or Foreign pension or annuity undeducted purchase price, when the foreign pension or annuity assessable amount is positive; or zero when the foreign pension or annuity assessable amount is zero or negative. Net foreign pension or annuity income with an undeducted purchase price is incorrect CMN.ATO.IITR.730354 The Net foreign pension or annuity income with an undeducted purchase price must equal the sum of all Foreign pension or annuity gross amounts less Foreign pension or annuity deductible expenses provided in the attached Income Details schedule, where the Foreign pension or annuity undeducted purchase price is positive Any ideas? How can I include a detailed depreciation schedule when I print an online tax return? It does not seem to be included in the tax return pdf. All it includes is the summary Tax depreciation worksheet. Could there be an option to include it when printingSolved50Views0likes1CommentPrinting beneficiary distribution schedule
Is there a way in a trust tax return in compliance tax to just print a beneficiary distribution schedule for a single beneficiary? I can only see how to print all beneficiaries and that is as part of a full tax return printout. I could do a screen capture, but some beneficiaries span a page break.Solved124Views0likes3CommentsGreat News! Extended Hours for EOFY Support!

Hello everyone! The latest update to MYOB Practice Compliance improves how information is displayed across all forms, schedules, and worksheets. Combining three key layout enhancements: Wider form widths: Forms are now centred with a fixed width, reducing unused space and presenting data in a cleaner, more balanced view. More fields on screens: Repeating fields are displayed side by side in a table-style layout, rather than all stacked vertically, allowing more information to be visible on one screen. Additional visual adjustments : Field alignment, spacing, and visual separators are now consistent across components, with clearer Yes/No buttons and improved hover states. These changes make forms easier to see, scan, and move through, reducing scrolling and helping you stay focused from start to finish.118Views1like0Comments
