HI,
So we have an employee who is cashing out leave - but to get those hours taken off of the holiday leave accrual figure, I simply added the 2nd wage type to the entitlement area - BUT I can't continue as I get an error message.

Thanks for your post. This error message generally means that one or more wage categories that are trying to be excluded from the entitlement aren’t set as hourly categories.
After ensuring that the entitlements' linked wage category is set to an hourly basis, not a salary basis, you will need to refresh the entitlement in the background by following the steps given below:
1. Take note of the percentage figure.
2. Click Equals "hours per pay period"
3. Click Equals % percent of gross hours
4. Click OK.

There was no payroll category not set to hourly - but making MYOB refresh worked.
Such a pity that MYOB keep 'improving' the software but never fix these stupid inconsistencies that, in my programming days, would have been classed as bugs!
