I am able to email invoices and orders but when I try to email statements I get the message "I/O Error in Routine" Any suggestions?

Given its only a happening on one type of document, it would imply that potentially the temporary file for statements is having an issue. To that end I recommend having a look at our help article Error: "I/O Error in Routine" when emailing
This article steps through how to locate the relevant temp file and how to remove it so you can then email statements again
