Self employed person kiwisaver and income tax payments

For a self-employed person, should KiwiSaver and Income tax payments be set up in MYOB as "liabilities" or "other expenses (non-deductible)".  With all due respect please don't ask me to see an accountant.

Re: Self employed person kiwisaver and income tax payments

Hi @Blah

Thanks for your post. You might find this article helpful: Recording IRD payments and credits.  If you are unsure about the accounts and tax codes I would be speaking to your accounting advisor about that as it would be outside of the scope of MYOB support.

However, in saying that, some members of the MYOB Community may be able to provide some guidance on this situation. I do hope they share their experiences with that.

Kind regards,
Yanike
