How do you learn best?
At MYOB we recognise that people learn in different ways. Some people prefer step-by-step written instructions. Others prefer one-on-one tutoring. Some people are visual learners. Some people prefer to learn at their own pace and simply by tinkering. Others like the structure and support of a classroom environment.
As part of our comprehensive end of financial year website, over the past couple of weeks we have been recording short videos for those that prepare to watch how something is done rather than work through a written Support Note. You can find these videos on our Trending Topics page. We have posted videos about topics like common issues with payment summaries and accessing the compliance update.
We’ve also been posting these videos on the Community Forum, and it’s something we would like to do a lot more of. If you would like a video walkthrough of any particular process in AccountRight or LiveAccounts, please let me know.
For more formal training, we have many options available, all listed at www.myob.com.au/training. Options include classroom training, online training where you can learn at your pace, online seminars and training manuals. Many of our MYOB Partners would also be happy to come to you and help you get the most from your software. You can find one near you using our Partner Search Tool.
Also, please remember during this busy end of financial year period in Australia, we encourage you to first search the Support Notes database and the Community Forum if you have an issue to see if these extensive resources can help resolve your problem. If you cannot find information about your problem, please post with as much detail as possible in the relevant Community Forum board and our Social Support team and Partners will be more than happy to help.
It’s certainly been another very busy week on the Community Forum. We’ve warmly welcomed another 455 new members and over 1000 posts have been submitted, including 300 from MYOB staff.
We really appreciate all those community members that have assisted others on the forum during such a hectic and demanding period. An extra special thanks to our top contributors of the week - David_Cree, gavin12345, Murray_McKenzie, GDK, JenPerram. It’s fantastic that you take the time in your busy weeks to so generously share your expertise and experience.
Our star of the week was David_Cree who made over 50 posts, including eight that were marked as Accepted Solutions. Murray_McKenzie, gavin12345, Mike_James and GL-BAS-BK also had multiple posts marked as solutions. Great work!
We hope everyone this weekend gets a well-deserved rest. But once again for those that do need to work (such as preparing payment summaries ahead of Sunday’s ATO deadline) please remember that our support teams will be continuing to help 24 hours a day.
