Hi all,

Welcome to the first Community update for 2014. How has the new year been treating you so far? How are you going with your new year resolutions?

Here at MYOB it has certainly been all systems go as we embark on another big year. We are really excited about all the new products and services were have in development, as well as all the upgrades and enhancements that we have planned for release this year to help make business life easier.

We are particularly pleased about how many business owners are discovering the many advantages of online accounting such as automatic bank feeds, and we’re looking forward to helping even more clients realise the benefits.

One of our first releases for the year is the Windows 8 companion app. The app, free to download from the Windows app store, enables AccountRight Live clients with Windows 8.1 devices to keep an eagle eye on your balance sheet, receivables and payables. The graphs are quick and easy to view and can be pinned to your start page so you can be constantly monitoring your business performance.

Speaking of apps, we’re really looking forward to releasing a feature-rich mobile app for iOS and Android devices very soon. We’ll have more exciting news on the app next week.

Our Support Notes team has also been busy in recent weeks. The team has created helpful new guided Support Notes that are a little like Choose Your Own Adventure books, asking questions about your specific issue and providing customised help. Let us know what you think of them.

With most people now back from well-deserved holidays, it’s been the busiest week of the year to date on the Community Forum. Over 620 posts have been made on the forum, including over 200 from MYOB staff. We also welcomed over 280 new members. Great to have you all join us!

Our top contributors this week were CloudMindAcc, The_Doc, ronatbas, TonyLane and PHalls.  Many thanks for all your hard work assisting other community members, and a special note of appreciation to PHalls who had the most posts marked as solutions this week.

Thank you to all those community members who have recently shared their expertise on the Community Forum. Please let me know if you ever need any assistance in getting the most from the forum.

Also, don’t miss our interview with top contributor Mike_James. Mike has helped thousands of community users with his comprehensive posts, and his talents also extend to singing!

Love your work,
