Hi Mike,
We currently have Premier SE using both online and offline files. MYOB premier purchased outright many years ago. Online files we pay a monthly subscription due to STP etc, and will need to update to v2026.5 but want to keep using SEv2026.4 for our multiple offline files that aren't used as frequently. Will I be able to do this and how? Will we be able to also work remotely?
It is very confusing as I am receiving different answers from MYOB each time I call and have wasted so much time trying to get straight answers, not the standard line answers. And the STRESS this has caused.... This whole process has not been communicated well from MYOB. ie. All options available.

Due to differences between how users use their MYOB file, there is no 'one size fits all' and what may work for one user may not work for another.
MYOB support is another thing all together, Mike_MYOB is one of the few who usually knows what he is talking about, though he too has a party line to toe. Call centre staff are best avoided if you want reliable responses - take this pearler from yesterday here - staffer seems to be mindlessly quoting from an outdated 5 yr old response script. Either that or MYOB have re-instated Checking out/Checking in from online - a function discontinued over 5 years ago!
You may pay a small fee for support from FGH Tables or MYOX Services, but less stress and other costs (time) than to a free answer from MYOB Call centre. And remember their job sometimes depends on signing you up for a subscription, so the answers are mostly geared this way.
