Sadly, this process is not running very well. The simple solution (for now) for anyone who wants to stay off line is to download the Server Edition. If you bow to pressure and take your company file on line be careful: you can only have 1 file on line. If you have more than one desktop file, each one needs a separate subscription. And once you have uploaded a company file, you can not overwrite it or delete it.
