Very Strange. I can open my online file in SE 2026.5. Who know how long that will last....

Also, I cannot see the AccountRight MSI 2026.5 version for download. Is this still supported or is it only SE and Desktop EXE versions only available?

    Hi DamienGM​ , Server Edition 2026.5 has been communicated from the beginning as the solution for opening and using your offline files. Apologies if this has not been clear, there are a lot of different discussions on this in the forum.
    I don't believe there will be a MSI installer for 2026.5 PC edition, but it is available for many earlier versions.

      As per your FAQ above:

      Please note, Server Edition will only support offline files from version 2026.5. To access online files, customers will need to download and install the latest version of MYOB AccountRight PC edition or login to MYOB AccountRight in the browser

      and

      MYOB AccountRight Server Edition 

      • From version 2026.5 Server Edition will be offline-only.

      Which at first glance reading it at face value I would interpret as "can't open online files anymore", as opposed to "its still possible but not recommended or supported in anyway". And when the online file moves to 2026.6 (or anything later) I would assume from the above that there probably won't be a SE 2026.6 (or later) to open it. If the intent was that SE 2026.5 was not to open online files then there's something thats has been missed.

        Hi DamienGM​ , apologies, it wasn't clear from your post that you were opening an online file.
        That is unusual that you could open an online file.
        For roughly 1 week, online files will still show in the 'recently opened' list in Server Edition, but there will be a patch to fix this.
