What’s happening?
MYOB Essentials Cashbook is being decommissioned. Bank feeds will stop working from 15 December 2025, and from 28 February 2026 you will no longer be able to access or view any MYOB Essentials Cashbook files, including paid subscription files and older read-only files.
As an alternative, we recommend moving to MYOB Business Connected Ledger.
Please note: This change does not impact any Practice Ledger files. These files will continue to be available.
Key dates:
- November 2025: Final bill for paid subscriptions.
- 15 December 2025: Bank feeds will stop working.
- 28 February 2026: MYOB Essentials Cashbook is decommissioned and inaccessible, including paid subscription files and older read-only files.

While MYOB Essentials Cashbook has served customers well over the years, the general needs of the industry have shifted, which has changed the way we develop and support software.
We're dedicated to delivering solutions that provide our customers with the greatest value, improve business outcomes and enable a better connection between accountants, bookkeepers and businesses. As a result, we’ve made the decision to focus our resources on MYOB Business.
Although we’re decommissioning MYOB Essentials Cashbook, we’re still here to support you with MYOB Business Connected Ledger.
