On 29 September 2026, MYOB will retire the MYOB Capture and MYOB Invoice apps in Australia.
MYOB Assist will be the unified app for quoting, invoicing and receipt capture on the go. MYOB Assist provides an improved user experience and additional features. It is available free of charge for your clients using:
- MYOB Business Lite and Pro
- AccountRight Plus, Premier and Standard - online files
- AccountRight Basic - quote and invoice only
- Connected Ledger - receipt capture only
Clients using the existing MYOB Capture and MYOB Invoice mobile apps will receive an in-app notification advising them to download the MYOB Assist app.

MYOB Assist features
Expense capture
Scan receipts easily and upload to MYOB software. With automatic text recognition, transaction details auto-fill in MYOB, saving time on manual data entry when managing bills and 'spend money' transactions.
Create and send quotes
Create, send, and manage quotes on mobile devices. An accepted quote can be converted to an invoice.
Create and send invoices
Create and send invoices on mobile devices, whether on-site or out on a job.
Field access
Grant app-only access to staff to quote, invoice, and capture receipts, whilst keeping sensitive data protected.
