  • Our company is using MYOB AccountRight.  At the moment, we are paying salary manually, not using MYOB to pay our staff.  May I know if there is extra cost if we choose to use MYOB to process the actual salary payment?

  • Our company is using MYOB AccountRight.  May I know if there is extra fee for paying superannuation through MYOB after 1st of July 2026?

HI ChristinaLi payroll and super are included with an AccountRight subscription. Take a look at the 'Set up pay super' link on the original post for help getting started

I sent an email on behalf of a client on 6th May for Pay Super Change of details.  I got an automatic reply on the same day and nothing since.  They said turn around would be 10-12 days.  I am not sure why this is taking so long.

  • Hi Mike,

In order to pay contractor's super via Pay Super, I have set them up as employees with an employment basis of other.  When I run a Payroll activity summary report, their super is included, therefore the super amount is different to the super balance on the YTD verification report in the payroll reporting centre.

Do I need to change this?

    Thanks,

    Bel

    Hi bel44,

If you've set the contractor up as an employee with an employment basis of Other so you can pay their super through Pay Super, that can sometimes make the figures look a bit different across reports. A good first step is to check your Payroll Register report against the Payroll Activity report for the same period. If those two reports match, then your payroll figures are usually fine.

If the only difference you're seeing is in the YTD verification report in the Payroll Reporting Centre, you can usually sort that out by sending an update event. That refreshes the figures in the reporting centre without creating a new pay run.

    Regards,

    Sai
