MYOB Acumatica July upgrades 29 & 30 July postponed
Hi All We are temporarily pausing the deployments of our latest release 2023.117.400.7506 due to an error in the enablement of the timeout function, which was set to 30 minutes instead of the intended duration of 4hrs. This change was initially planned for a future update to ensure compliance with new requirements from the Australian Taxation Office (ATO). We will provide a status update by Monday, close of business Deployment plan - 2024COHORT1JUL Window - 2024-JUL-W3 - 29 July & 2024-JUL-W4 - 30 July We apologise for any inconvenience this has caused. Good Morning Over the last few days we have seen a small number of sites report that they are receiving the above error when either trying to login or action specific workflows within their site. Other symptoms have included the "spinning wheel of death". Platform are aware of this issue and are working towards a resolution as priority. The initial suspicion is that the CrowdStrike agents may not have refreshed correctly when the fix was applied. Platform are looking to force a reinstall of the agents but in parallel have been provisioning new nodes or migrating affected sites as these were reported. Some sites may notice a slight degradation in performance while these activities are ongoing. The issue has been raised with the MYOB Incident Management Team and as always you can follow any status updates at https://status.myob.com/ Mark Trumper Product and Platform Team Leader39Views0likes4CommentsSolution Consulting – July 2024 Update

Hi All, We are excited to share our plan to roll out a database infrastructure upgrade from MySQL 5.7 to MySQL version 8 over the upcoming weekends in July, August, and September. This is a significant backend upgrade to our database infrastructure. Our team has been working diligently to plan, prepare, and test our MySQL v8 environments to ensure a seamless transition for our customers. Our non-production sites, including Sandboxes and Demos, have been operating on MySQL version 8 since March/April. This period has been utilized to observe and fine-tune configurations for a flawless upgrade. We have minimised the impact on users so they will experience just a few minutes of interruption in their MYOB Acumatica site as the upgrade completes. We have adopted a phased strategy for the production rollout, which is as follows: Phase 1 - Completed in June, this phase involved a change impacting a small subset of sites (5% of sites). Phase 2 - Scheduled for July, this phase will see an increase in the number of impacted sites (20% of sites). Phase 3 - Planned for August and September, this phase will involve rolling out the change impacting the remaining 75% of sites in small subsets each weekend. All MySQL version 8 upgrades are planned for the weekends over July, August & September. Our first rollout window in July commences on 20 July, followed by another small window on the 27th. Phase 3 will roll out on weekends across August and September. Weekly Platform maintenance community notifications will be posted detailing the deployment plan and window to list the impacted sites. Customers will also receive in-product notifications of planned maintenance. We appreciate your continued support during this transition and look forward to a successful upgrade of our MySQL version. Angela Maxwell Associate Product Manager - PlatformJury Duty Payment
Hi Team, It is our first time having an employee go on jury duty. I understood that there are two ways of doing this. 1. Pay employees full pay while they are on jury duty, then deduct this value from the employee's pay when he receives payment from the court. 2. Set up a new wage category for the employee while they are on jury duty to pay their regular pay minus the court allowance. If we decide to go with option 1, does that mean we don't need to set up any pay line items or pay line liabilities? We are using MYOB Advanced. As an example: Monthly Gross income $1,000. Jury duty payment received $100. When we process the next payroll I only need to change the gross income to $900 and the tax withheld will be based on $900. It won't show anything on the payslip for his jury duty payment? The super will only be calculated from the $900 as we don't need to pay super on jury duty. I would appreciate it if someone could help confirm if my understanding is correct. Thank you for your assistance.Advanced Platform maintenance - 20 July 8pm AEST/10pm NZST

Good Morning Consensus Users, To coincide with yesterday's announcement, work has been completed last night to rename all MYOB Advanced, MYOB Advanced Professional Services, MYOB Advanced Payroll and MYOB Advanced Workforce Management to MYOB Acumatica within Consensus. This rename has included Titles, Descriptions and URLs. As the video content itself has not been updated, the below blurb has been prepended to the standard intro video (Solution Presentation Experience) for our standard demos: For single videos, unfortunately we had no way of easily including the same messaging. Instead, we'd suggest when sending single demos/tours related to MYOB Acumatica to customers, to include the text ‘MYOB Advanced is now MYOB Acumatica. We've recently updated our Platform name so references to "MYOB Advanced" will be updated to "MYOB Acumatica" soon.’ in your email correspondence so they are aware of the terminology change. The Videos and Tours themselves will start to be updated to coincide with new Acumatica UI rollout which we expect be available in the Autumn Release (March 2025) to avoid duplication of work. Videos and Tours will then be uploaded with appropriate communications once available. We’ll also be updating the PDF collateral as it becomes available from our Product Marketing team. Any queries on the above, or if you come across any content within Consensus that we’ve missed, please email us at consensusteam@myob.com. Cheers, Callum & RobinNZ : Roll out of NZ tax updates

Hi Partner community, I'm implementing a new form to make it easier for partners to get Workforce Management sites working. This is slightly changing responsibility for site setup. What is an integration Route? Workforce Management integration with Acumatica needs an extra step set up if timesheets are going to be requested by Payroll. Previous process: Partner needed to contact Operations to have integration route set up for any new Workforce Management site. New Process: After completing the Payroll Preferences connection setup, consultant makes an API User in Workforce Management and sets a password on this new account. Details for integration are then provided to MYOB by filling in this form: https://forms.office.com/r/NtKcx0DW9x Please do not give this form out directly to customers Once integration route has been configured, MYOB will confirm and it should work.\ If you know the CompanyID of the WFM Company, please provide it, if not as long as we can identify clearly which Workforce Management company you're linking to we'll be fine (Make sure you give us the correct name). Passwords must never be disclosed in cleartext, always use PrivateBin to send passwords through. How do I know if I need to do this? This is required if you want to Import Timesheet information or Standard Hours information into Acumatica. If this is not set up, completed payruns from Workforce Management will not be visible in the Timesheet Batches ( MPPP7060 ) screen for import into Acumatica. How can I test if the Integration Route has been set up? You can test this by processing a timesheet into a Pay run in Workforce Management, and then Finalizing that payrun.NZ : In progress - Advanced Payroll tax changes for 24/25 tax table revision
