Error in IR3 tax return

When I prepare an IR3 tax return I make sure the profit in the IR10 is the same as what is in the income for self employment (keypoint 23) but if there are also schedule payments in the tax return I keep getting a warning error saying that IR10 net taxable profit is not equal to total business, rental & schedule income. I am using Accountants office classic ver 22.0.0.a

  • Hi Ford, This message is just a warning to let you know that the income you have entered in self employment & scheduler income does not total up and match what is entered in the IR10. This is just a warning for you to check if the figures are correctly entered, if you are happy with what you have entered, you can lodge the return and ignore that message.
