Why do MYOB still use IE11 as it Browser when installing updates

Hi

 

I am just interested in why MYOB persist in using IE 11 as its post installation web notes browser instead of the system default browser or at least the current verison of Edge.

 

Just finished installing Tax 2020.2 and up pops the web notes in IE 11.  I beleive that on Ausgst 17, Microsoft will even stop supporting it O365 apps for IE11,  Its time MYOB get with the times and fix this.

    Hi Trevor_Harrison 

     

    This is due to Internet Explorer might be hard-coded into the application as the default web browser.

     

    However, this should change when Internet Explorer becomes obsolete.
