Update on status of Catalina Update

Could you please advise the status of the AccountEdge update for Catalina. Thanks

As indicated on Must Read: AccountEdge Information before upgrade MAC OS Catalina (10.15), that after exploring a large range of options we do reject to announce that AccountEdge will not be Catalina compliant. Should clients wish to upgrade to Catalina we do recommend contacting our phone-based team to discuss options available to their situation.

For those able to stay on the Mojave operating system, AccountEdge will operate as normal and all functionality remains the same for the foreseeable future

Is there another MYOB program that will run on a Mac? If so, which one, can I migrate, etc

Hi. You could look at buying Parallels from Parallels.com - it's a popular Mac application. that let's you run a Windows 10 session on your Mac. Over 7 milion users have downloaded it. Once you have it, you could open it and download AccountRight 2020. Kym Yeoward in Darwin (Palmerston)

In addition to Kym__Yeoward's suggestion, you may like to consider MYOB Essentials. As it is a browser-based application it will allow the user to access the data using an Internet browser so you can use it on a Windows computer or MAC or on a mobile. Do note that it does offer different features than AccountEdge so it is recommended that you register for a trial before uptaking on a subscription.
