Thanks for reaching out, Unfortunately we no longer support ODBC and can not register keys. This is due to AccountRight classic v19 being decommissioned along with ODBC. If you had an existing ODBC key this would still be active however no new keys can be registered.

I know that, what I am asking is how can we use the API like an ODBC connection? The ODBC connection was relatively easy to set up, I've tried following the developer guides on setting up an API and it is much more complicated.
Surely MYOB has created an app by now that helps businesses access our data like we used to with an ODBC connection?

Hi Thermaflo1 , have a look at https://accountingaddons.com.au/.
ODBC is no more. All apps these days use an API. What accounting addons have done is simulate the ODBC experience for users, using the API under the hood.
There's also MYOB for Excel if your file is in the cloud. See https://help.myob.com/wiki/display/ar/Getting+started+with+MYOB+for+Excel.
