For anyone that arrives here via Google, I had a different issue that resulted in the same error.
In my case, my token was valid, but I was requesting an endpoint that I didn't have in my token scope. The fix was to expand the scopes I had requested to contain the one I needed (
https://developer.myob.com/api/myob-business-api/api-overview/granular_data_scopes/), and then reauthorize (go back through the auth flow).
