Paid family and domestic violence leave - Australia

Hope everyone had a good break and is ready 2023!

The Australian Government has introduced paid family and domestic violence leave (FDVL) for all employees. This will take effect for employers with

• 15 or more employees on 1 February 2023, and
• less than 15 employees on 1 August 2023.

Online Help for Paid family and domestic violence leave - Australia is available to be shared with your customers. Customers must complete these steps to be compliant.

Customers will receive the guide via email to the primary site contact and in-app messaging to the payroll administrator.

We are seeking guidance from the relevant authorities about some issues that we think need to be clarified further. We will advise if we receive further information that impacts this guide.
