Job Reimbursable Expenses Report

Hi there,

 

I am trying to create a job reimbursable expenses report in the Jobs module. I can do this easily through MYOB desktop. 

 

Also where is the track reimbursables box when you are creating a new job in the job module.

    Hi JoJo10,

     

    Thanks so much for reaching out and for explaining how you’re using the Jobs Reimbursable report. I can hear how central it is to your weekly workflow. Right now, the browser experience doesn’t have an exact like‑for‑like version of that desktop report, which is why you’re not seeing something that replicates your current process yet. I completely get how disruptive that feels when you’re relying on it to allocate multiple items across multiple jobs each week. What I’d really love you to do next is pop this through to our Ideas Board, because that’s the best way for our product team to see and prioritise improvements to the browser version.

    Following receipt of the email that we have to get of the Desktop MYOB version to Browser, I am scrambling to try to replicate my current processes and reports.  The Jobs Reimbursable Report is something I use all the time to assist me to record & then allocate multiple items to multiple jobs every week.  I have not found anything that will do the same job as the Desktop report.  Why is this?  Will that change?  I am going to have huge issues if this function is not available anymore!  I am happy to describe how important this report is in day to day processing if you want more information.

    Thank you for your email. I have assigned the job, however the report does not give me enough information.

     

    I have screen shots below of the two different reports.

     

    Is there a solution to this issue rather than just saying "MYOB business doesn't include this feature. 

     

    Account right report - shows exactly what had been input including description

    MYOB business report - only shows purchase (with no description)

    Hi Envirochill,

     

    Thanks for your query. I understand you're trying to create a Job Reimbursable Expenses report and locate the 'Track Reimbursable' box in the Jobs module of MYOB Business. MYOB Business doesn't include a specific feature to track reimbursable expenses directly or provide a check box like the one available in AccountRight desktop.

     

    If you're looking to generate similar report, I recommend using the Job Transactions Report or Job Activity Summary to track job-related expenses. You can assign each expense to a specific job when recording transactions.
