We Generally get this message about client already linked, as the client has previously had a datafile or ledger that they were linked to.
Our filters can sometimes hide this from us.
So we can check our filters to ensure it is on all staff, and include all expired and Cancelled Clients See this help article https://help.myob.com/wiki/x/7hCEAQ
You can also Search for that client under Contacts and check what displays in the Transaction processing brick:
if you see the following:
it means you no longer have access the client was linked to.
So may need someone who does to give you access again or
