Hey there offxgrid! 👋
Hope your Monday is off to a great start, and I'd like to thank you for adding your thoughts on the ideas board! Totally hear you that if you're processing deposit requests as multiple invoices, it would become quite hard to track - especially if it's a central part of your business model!
I'd love to hear more about how you use deposits end to end, and we can relay that to the teams designing and building Solo. Real world use cases like yours are crucial to what we build next, so any and all details help ☺️
We're kicking off the discovery phase for quotes soon, and we're really keen to chat with our Solmates who use quotes regularly to get some insights on how it should look and feel in Solo. If you like, I'd be happy to take your details and have members of the team reach out when they begin scheduling discovery and research meetings?
PS - I've got no details on T&Cs at this time, but you're welcome to raise a new idea in the board with more detail if you like! I'm sure there are more Solmates out there who would find it handy 🙌
Hey Jay,
yes, happy for them to contact me via email.
I am at my 3rd invoicing app for sole traders and my line of work, I think is probably the most demanding in terms of invoicing features.
I really like the all in one aspect of MYOB solo but these things are pretty inconvenient not to have.
I have already made a post for T&Cs that has been turned as a vote. Basically all we need is a written section that can be recorded and applied to every invoice. Just like the “Note to customer” you already have in MYOB but be able to make it recurring.

Hey offxgrid,
Glad to hear! I've added your details to our research candidate list, and you'll hear from members of the team as discovery work begins. I've mentioned that you're keen on a few other feature suggestions, so while the core research will be about quoting functionality - I'm sure they'd be happy to reach out about different topics as work unfolds. ☺️
We're always in the business of reducing "work work", so we love hearing about different lines of work and ways of working. Keep an eye out for emails from the team as they begin digging into quoting, but in the meantime keep the ideas coming! 🤝
